Amazing art. It's a little difficult to figure out the rules.

Graphic art is simply the best. It is very difficult to play, I agree that you need to introduce training. I've only dealt with a small part. I think it should be finalized and uploaded to the playground.

Thank you much! Absolutely going to flesh out this game, hopefully make things a bit clearer!

Hard to know what to do but the art is SUPER!!!!!! Great job. Did you use assets o did you made all the art?

Developer

All of the art is original! Thank you!

Love the visuals and audio, from the characters to the UI everything felt nice together.
It just felt a bit unclear at first, but overall great game.

Thank you very much! I have heard from a few people that the beginning is a little cluttered and confusing, so I definitely plan on adding a tutorial level to explain things in the final version.

I really liked the visuals and audio, but felt it was just kind of eh.  There wasn't a whole lot to plant, and after a while I didn't even need to do much but still won.  I can see this being great though!

Do you think a larger selection of events/plants/etc would have helped out? I plan to expand the randomized pool of stuff in the final version.  Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah for sure.  I honestly didn't really have to do anything and I won.  Having more spaces to plant and events would help make this better. Also you can kind of softlock yourself if you buy those seed boost things at the start.  This might have just been me being stupid but it did cause me to restart the game.

Okay so, first off, I LOVE this art style so much. Since I saw it I wanted to immediately play it, it's that cool, and it never falters. I like the personality of Dan too, and the music is good. But maybe I just suck at gardening games, but it felt... a bit unclear how to do things? The explanation could maybe be spread out a bit, and I'm not sure how you're supposed to gain more bones/crystals...? I had fun, I just don't know how to win, I guess.

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am a 100% self-taught artist, so it means a lot. I will definitely try to improve the intro dialogue in the future to clarify things, but a brief explanation for now: bones are simply currency, which you can use to buy things in the shop. Points represent the value of each plant. Danny wants a garden worth at least 1000 points, which can be affected by random events. Thank you for the feedback, as I definitely plan to flesh out (no pun intended) this game in the future.
