Art style is really cool and I like the concept, but I think the hit detection is quite dodgy and the controls are strange. Why left Shift and left Ctrl?  I think the hit detection could be fixed a bit by making the sword slashing a separate sprite that goes in front of the character - that way you've got some more range to work with and the hitbox for the sword is kept separate from the player. Overall I do like the game though, it just needs some tweaking.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I think I should've probably made a separate animation for the attack and something that both me and Ahmad agreed on is that the combat wasn't very good. As for controls we changed a lot of things last second and didn't get to playtest too much with it still though I agree I think we should've changed the attack from LCTRL

Art is really cool, quite enjoy it, bit confusing here and there but overall pretty cool and good concept!

We realised how confusing things could actually be for someone playing for the first time and we didn't indicate what the character could do well enough

Excellent game! The pixel art was brilliant and the environments were nice! I really liked the use of the lighting in the start area and the enemies. The ending was especially good! The concept was also unique and had a story to it without the use of words!
