Fun game, but a little too much jank to recommend
I enjoy the premise and mechanics of this game, you get one shot and you need to make it count, and you get some fun upgrades as you go along to help. This sort of set up feels like it's trying to encourage tactical gameplay, but there's a little too much randomness in the ship spawning, and the time to aim is pretty short, so there's not a lot of room to be tactical.
There are some minor bugs which don't ruin the game entirely, but can definitely impact your experience, like the mission complete noise going off at full blast regardless of what settings you put the sound on, and being unable to progress dialogue without skipping it entirely, or the passenger cruisers still moving at full speed when they're supposed to be slowed down with the rest of the ships.
I still had fun and the foundations of the game work quite well, but to be a game I'd recommend to others it would need some more tweaking to fix those bugs and maybe some adjustments to make the gameplay a little more tactical than random.
