Gameplay Instructions
Shoot the big catlike ships before they reach their goal (the red translucent wall behind the player (when spawning)). Don't die. You get healed after killing one of the big ships, so it is doubly (is that even a word?) good.

You steer with the left and right analogue sticks, boost with the left trigger, shoot with the right trigger and you can switch camera by pressing the (Y) button on the gamepad.

Left Stick: Pitch(inverted)/Yaw
Right Stick: Throttle/Roll
Left Trigger: Boost
Right Trigger: Shoot
(Y): Switch Camera
Alt+F4 to quit (sorry, no time for menu)

What platform is your game built for?

Windows

List any content that was created before the jam that was included in the final submission.
I used some of the materials and effects included with the FlyingBlueprint in the "Starter Content" folder for texturing the models I created in Blender (during the jam), also that strange "Laser Pointer" material (from the VREditor), because I thought it made the eyes of the Space Cat ships look really cool.
The earth texture is drawn (badly) by me, the sounds I have made in BFXR except the engine noise (which is a kitchen appliance) and the explosion sound (again from Starter Content).

Blueprint wise most are made entirely by me except for parts of the player character/ai fighter logic where I used the FlyingBP as guide.

Hints:

  • You can shoot as fast as your finger allows
  • Use boost to get away from pesky enemy fighters
  • Big ships spawn roughly once per minute
  • The slower you fly, the faster you turn
