Alright, so I've played only a bit. The graphics are really great, really great job there! Especially that tunnel with the eyes. About the only criticism regarding this that the tileset during the first part is a bit too bright, the pillars and walls could use some more contrast with the floors, everything sort of melts together this way. The defaul windowskin clashes with the rest of the graphics, but it's a game jam game, so it's fine. Just something to think about changing if you want to develop this further.

The game could also use some music or atleast sound effects. It's way too quiet and not in the eerie way.

Regarding story, I think that the switch from the first playable character to the first one was too abrupt, didn't really see the point of having it as a playable section, it could've been a cutscene. It could use to be fleshed out somewhat.

When you get to the second protagonist, there's a textbox even that keeps repeating on its own. It seems that you used Parallel Processing for the event instead of Autorun and forgot to flip a switch? Anyway, I was able to get out of that room by walking left and mashing ENTER. There, I was honestly a bit lost as to what I had to do after I got the candle lighted. That exit blocked by the black ooze could use to be a bit more visible.

That part with the tunnel that light up periodically with those eyes was really awesome and creative. I appreciate that you can see the tiles on the floor, which allows you to easily count steps needed. Just two things. The only thing that I don't like about it is that you have to backtrack through it after getting the key. There should be a shortcut back or maybe the ooze and the eyes disappear, allowing you to just go back. Or if you want to extend it, maybe something happens and the ooze changes into a different pattern, giving you a new challenge to complete.

Also, saving. You can't even bring up the menu, so I assume there are only autosaves. However, it doesn't seem consistent how they work. I thought it was the default way where the game saves everytime you switch maps. But after I got through the tunnel with the eyes and went through the locked door, I got a game over during the puzzle with the dolls and the last autosave was apparently before I even went to that tunnel. I didn't play past it because I didn't feel like going through the tunnel again every time I guess wrong, maybe I'll try it again later.

Anyway, good job, this game is certainly rough around the edges, but there's a lot of potential here! :)
