pretty clever idea for a quick-time game and good choice of music with the rain to set the atmosphere. i like that as an enemy approaches, the black bars appear to make it more cinematic and indicate that a threat is coming. it’s simple and effective fun. good job!
I like the art style of the characters! Also I generally like counter-based combat and this is an interesting implementation of that. For feedback, I would try to choose a more coherent background for a better appeal (if you have time of course). And also the gameplay might get a bit stale after a while. I do not know if other mechanics are introduced at some point but this could increase engagement. If they are introduced, maybe already hint at them earlier. Overall, great job though on the chunky feel and art style:)
