This is a space colonisation game made for the 2023 1-Bit Game Jam.

we failed at implementing a system where you can get resources from each planet to upgrade planets and get better resources to eventually build a large space ship which would then take you to a black hole and white hole that you could choose from and the ending would play. so currently it is essentially a prototype of the movement within the game. :(

controls:

shift and control to control thrust amount

w for applying that thrust

a and d for rotation

space to launch of a planet after landing

(alt f4 to exit)

Do you plan to finish the game after the jam end, because I want to try out the full game since I like the concept of your game :D.

And the planets are moving way too fast to catch up with full throttle.

Developer

Quite possibly, and yes the planets moving was a last 30 min addition.
what about the concept do you like? as we weren't necessarily going to have the moving of planets?

Well, I do like the moving system because if you decide to add obstacles then it would create all sort of havoc if the player does not plan ahead where they'll go next, and I really want to see the fate of the planet when the player colonize it.
