Crossbolt goes wild
The game plays and looks good, but it's resolution was way too high for me to be able to play well. I couldn't zoom out my window to fix it either because the UI stopped working when I did.
Ah that's a shame i don't know why there isn't a full screen button like other games seem to have, it's my first submission. I found it ok on higher res screen but after seeing your comment i've tried it on 1080p resolution and found if you make the browser full screen (usually F11) then you can get it working ok.
Actually I just realised I can still edit that so there is a full screen button now.
Yes, the full screen button helped me as well. Two other issues, however. One is that if you highlight, say, the crossbow, and then click the crossbow again, and a valid placement location happens to be behind the UI button, it places a crossbow tower at that location. So I spent 100 on a crossbow way in the corner of the map accidentally. Also, a tooltip for what the things are, and do, and cost, would help a lot! I love tower defenses from warcraft-3 days so I am following
Thanks for the comment, i wanted to add a full tutorial but ran out of time unfortunately. I did add some details on the page about each tower and the enemies if it helps.
Yes, of course that helps, now, also the pacing is too slow. For the first minute of the game, a single crossbow was handling every little critter with ease
Really fun to play! Those snakes really took me by surprise. Still don't know what the stealth detection thing is, but overall had a great time! Well done!
