Sometimes we just want some mindless fun and that's exactly what I have here! Just some simple random blurbs I have and played at my own leisure~ They're all varied with no specific theme on mind other than they were short, simple, and good~! ♪(´▽`)
You can also say it's my dumping ground of other games that have not fully made its way to my more theme oriented collections but despite saying that it does not mean the games here are any bad unless I explicity state the difficulties I encountered while playing it! Every game here can be your little hidden gem if you look around and experience it~ Do pace yourself and don't be like me where you put so many games in a collection.... Yeah, speaking from experience... (´。_。`)
It's quite short but it is sad. It follows the trend of villainess stories but the MC isn't the villainess themselves, but instead a "nameless" follower who held deep admiration towards the scorned lady. Regretably I feel as though this was a bit too short but the necessary plot was illustrated and told. I just hope that there was justice sent at the very least.
A fun lil game, it's short but works well for the various ending and the twist! The art is pretty simplistic but also works well, especially with the format of it being on the phone which is pretty relative to the story itself, it's a bit awkward to play on the laptop but it's bearable and nice!
There is some warning such as the bright colors that can cause eye-strain, mentioned murders, dark themes, and some violence, however that can be found in the True Ending I believe since I went through the Good Ending and haven't encountered much. Aside from that, it's a pretty fun little visual novels with interesting humanoid characters, also the colors are nice even though they can be eye blinding. There are some awkward dialogue due to the grammatical errors but it's bearable, especially for the characters!!
It's a quick challenging little visual novel with wonderful art and humrous writing! I would have put it in other game collections but it was pretty short and there wasn't much to it. There is a story for sure but you only get a glimpse of it so I hope there is more to it because it really is so promising~!
It's a quick visual novel taking a classic trope that has been used a cautionary tale and changing it, I would like it if it wasn't so obvious and lengthened the dread but other than that it's a nice little experience with not that much horror in it.
I feel like this has a lot of potential but right now it feels unpolished and lacking something. Other than that it can be kind of repetitive with not many events happening but other than that it can be kinda funny in which you try to see the many ways you can die, you might have to refresh your page since there isn't a load or save feature in this game.
This is a test for a game but I love how it works, especially with the art and the story so far. It's been intriguing going forward and meeting O who gave off instant "warning, warning" bells. Looking forward to any updates about this one.
This is a spooky sort of game, there isn't much violence to this other than the artistic blood, though as of now I have only played to the route where I chose all of the left side options, other than that it was a fun visual novel and I entirely enjoyed the voice acting, they sounded so fun and quirky, as well as the story. At the ending I was a bit confused but as I looked back throughout the interactions I begin to see the hints of the character, though I kinda wish we had a lot more to go off of because I genuinely thought it was a shapeshifter at first. But other than that, it was a fun visual novel with great audio, though you may want to adjust that to your liking.
This was a fun little game! I genuinely thought this would head on to a more philosophical approach with you getting to be satisfied with your appearance, but this was a funny kind of game in a lil bit of a sad way. It's a little bit confusing navigating through the different endings and point system but it's an overall laidback and simple game, especially for me who hasn't been playing a visual novel in over a month now.
EDIT:
I've played this again and oh boy, it really went to the philosophical route at Ending 3. I was suprised at the tips and tricks the Doctor gave the player but it was very interesting to see how the changes were made to interest the user. There are two things I do complain about. One of them was regarding how the MC doesn't feel concrete in their set personality, it was quite confusing about their motives and whatnot but the overall story was intriguing if not hopeful when you stop playing. Another thing is that it was labeled with a "yandere" tag however the Doctor shows no interest other than pity towards MC so I'm confused over it.
It's quite a nice little read with wonderful art and nice classical background music that pairs well with the scene that's being showncase. The plot is pretty predictable but it helps keep everything chill, even with the more insidious scenes that are being shown. I'm not sure if it's me but I got a hard time collecting the 3rd ending, (I got the Bees and Slayer ending) so I'd be delighted if people could help me with it ahaha, other than that, it's a pretty nice visually interesting visual novel!
I've had my eye on this since a video popped up, I think it was ManlyBadassHero or maybe Markiplier or Jacksepticeye? Either way I had been putting it off due to procrastination but I finally played it! Despite it being short I thoroughly enjoyed it and goddamn I couldn't get the heart to be cruel towards Vee even though she does kinda deserve it with the stunts she pulled, yet despite that, in my run she stopped and apologized before disappearing. I'm so curious about her origin and she also has such a pleasing simple character design, a good visual novel to get me started ahaha~!
A lighthearted fun little chatting visual novel, there are some plot points within the short talk but I like how calm and simple it can be. A nice little break from whatever the hell I was doing that caused so much stress in me
I was genuinely thinking of putting this on my Time To Get A Heart Monitor but I decided not to since it isn't explicitly stated and only implied if you read closer to the emails that are being sent. In its entirety it's a pretty creepy little visual novel, but not something that warrants you to jump up in fright. The horror I found is in its subtle narrative on the antagonist and you begin to slowly understand what happened to her, maybe at the beginning because later her actions are a bit strange and if I try to explain it it'll tread into spoiler territory. So do try it out but be careful of topics like gr**ming but they're pretty subtle and can only be understood if you look closely to the emails.
It has a lot of potential! I adore the characters and even the off-screen characters, they feel full of life and personality, especially with the mess that is our MC. The premise itself is pretty basic, you have our lonely sad MC in a significant holiday where they may need to have a partner in comparison to their friends, they go out to try to find "the one", and an adventure begins! Nothing wrong with that plot at all, with this we get to expect something and also feel comfortable in it, but I'm very much looking forward to more character interaction because Prose feels like such a likable character, especially towards our MC because she complements them well enough. Keeping my eye out for this~!
It has a pretty unique and nice style to it, and I love the black and white usage of colors/shades. But the downside is is that it's pretty short with not much content to go through. Hao (our MC but she's nameable) is a pretty nice unique character who isn't confined to her nerd stereotype and Ly doesn't seem much of your stereotypical mean girl. There's only one ending you'll get no matter what option you pick and when I went back to check on the game, I lost my load file and my adjusted preferences. It was a bit frustrating but since the visual novel was so short I was just able to skim by it, I do think it has potential especially with the dynamic of the characters and the history between them, but it's been 5 years now and I think the creator has moved on to different projects and this visual novel isn't too high on their priority list.
The story itself is pretty lacking, not much goes on other than retelling the past and what happened, though it's explained in short detail. It also doesn't provide much on what the characters go through and it feels unpolished. It isn't that bad of a visual novel to go through but I feel like if there was a bit more time invested in the story and the writing, I'm sure there would have been something interesting! I'm already getting ideas from this so there is promise within it.
For now I'm gonna put it here since not many things are available as of now, but other than that it was a fun little game that was set in a visual novel engine, I love just vibing to the tropical music while waiting for the dead fish to poop out jewels-- Yes that is a thing. Though it can be pretty slow at the first few minutes, if you are pretty committed to it I'm sure a few minutes in it something interesting will happen! But as of now, I'm just gonna put it here unless further updates prove anything cool!
I think it has a lot of potential, especially with how disturbing Mr. Loburn can actually be, it's quite short and monotonous which helps accentuate how particularly surprising the ending can be with its abruptness. Of course there's the concerning evidence inside Mr. Loburn's thoughts but it makes me curious as to what happened to him, why he became like that, and what other atrocities is he going to commit.
It's a simple little visual novel with a nice little plot, there's a surprising turn of event at the very end and it ends a bit abruptly, but it's not quite bad as it's quite lighthearted with the usual kids fighting (though not at all fighting, more like arguing between friends).
Goddamn was this a challenging game to play, it's not your typical visual novel that's for sure and it sure as hell is an experience but a good one. Take your time with it, have fun with all the chaos, and just mess aorund with it!
It's a cyberpunk theme visual novel with a simple premise, but the story behind it is intriguing which you'll sadly only read in the 1k word limit. But its simplicity is nice and the effects are cool (though do be warned about it if you have sensitive eyes or the like).
The plot is really interesting and intriguing, mysterious that's for sure. I have an idea of what's going on but the ending threw me off a loop. I'm not sure what to make of it but this visual novel loops a lot so be mindful of that. But other than that, it's a nice little visual novel with a really interesting character that's for sure.
The visuals are stunning and even though it only has one asset (coming from the O2A2 jam) it's quite a nice atmospheric visual novel. Though, do be warned about what the description is because I didn't read it properly and got shocked. Nothing graphic happened just spooked out, which is great since its main point is its atmosphere~! The reason why I didn't put it in Time To Get A Heart Monitor is because it didn't frighten me enough (... like I wanna get scared...) but the slow turn of getting to the climax is honestly a wonderful slow climb to it. The way they weave the dialogue is also very poetic and visually pleasing to read, as well as cool little tricks in the dialogue to convey suspense/tension.
I would've put this in the "Time To Get A Heart Monitor" but it wasn't that scary, mysterious sure. This didn't go the way I initially thought it would be but despite that it has enough lore that makes you want to question what's going on, especially with MC who seems so mysterious. Usually we know a lot about the MC but in this instance, we know close to nothing but enough to have a rough idea. It's a really nice little visual novel.
The presentation is simple but makes you focus on only just the story. The story itself is short but is quite sweet, the characters being MC and their partner are honestly sweet and caring. The way everything is written is honestly my favorite also the reasoning behind everything. It's quite fluffy~
A cute little game about a painting that really catches your eyes, and your eyes only. It's a pretty little thing and though it's really short, the visuals and music paired together is one that's really lovely.
This was such a surreal experience and it had such a creative and unique way on how it got around the limitations of only having one asset! The way the dialogue is weaved like a poet and the subtle plot that is overcrowded on the crazy visuals, it's a great visual novel and I truly want to see more about it.
I was honestly misdirected at the first part, but once I saw the reasoning I was like "Aww, that's cute". It's a simple little visual novel with a cute character who is so supportive of you, I love the premise of this story, especially with how casual the character, Placeholder, is treated when she quite literally breaks the fourth wall.
It's part of teh O2A2 jam so it's pretty short but even though it's short there was a lot of plot that we're able to glean in that time, as well as ominous parts of the story, especially the ending! The visual novel makes use of interesting visuals in order to make up for the limited visuals and it helps truly immerse you. A great scifi visual novel in my limited experience!
The sprite/art is seriously pretty, I am not ashamed to say this is why I played it lmao. The story is pretty interesting but do heed the content warnings! It has a good story for its short length and the way it's written makes it read like a poem. Very nice.
