Oof... Looks like Itch.io has taken a stance to hide all NSFW games from search. This really sucks and is a result of pressure from the credit card companies not to sell porn on websites. Itch has yet to release a statement but I imagine they will soon. There really isn't much they can do about this if they want to keep their credit card payment system functioning on their website.

I actually used to work in the Adult Industry in Japan selling JAV overseas and in Japan. They faced a similar dilemma with selling pornography and strikes and pressure from the credit card manufacturers, specifically VISA and Mastercard. Luckily, they sold a lot of other legitimate wares online and were able to skirt the ban for a few years but eventually they also had to shutter their doors and bend their knee to the credit card companies.

Itch is nowhere near as large as the company I worked for so I have little hope for them being able to reverse this decision. They may even take the game down, right now its not searchable along with my other adult games also being hidden from view. I imagine they may even completely remove/ban my account or if they don't that is always something they could do at a whim. 

I don't personally have a solution other than offering the game in other various forms/websites and promoting through Reddit/Bluesky/X. I do have a day-job so this is a hobby for me and wont affect my livelihood, but it sucks for other NSFW creators who will be impacted by this decision and who do rely on game sales as their primary income. 

It's unclear what the alternative will be, though I am sure an alternative will pop up (where there is a gap in the market, someone will rush to fill it). I am happy to move my games there. If anyone has any suggestions for other websites where they find their adult games do let me know.

I will be releasing a new update soon that will contain all the dialogue for Charlie fully voiced and animated. Komi and Appleberry's Dialogues have also been completed.
