Developer Log# 15: It's that time of the year again...

Good afternoon, you late nighters,

I am currently on vacation, but I've decided to write up a little something just for the cause. I've just come back after a rightful time of watching firework shows in a giant park with a huge drone show as well. It was truly a one-of-a-kind show that I've seen in my life so far.

Now, since I have mentioned I am currently on vacation, I didn't manage to get much done throughout this week. However, I do assure you that I am currently working on the agility training of the 4-part sections and plan to eventually get items working and hopefully leveling...

But, in the meanwhile, while I go and schedule/plan that for my next work time, how about a time for me to promptly thank any of y'all who've been keeping up with me so far and reading through these developer logs?

I think there's a huge misunderstanding with how I develop my games. I think it may just be me, but I have many thoughts that people could possibly complain about it being so unpolished with this crappy art style, buggy gameplay, and possibly even a boring loop that not many would want to play. But I do want you to hear me out: I never meant to take any of this seriously. This game is literally just a silly thing I decided to make myself over many months, especially after Click Hoarding took 3–4 months; this may be double, maybe even triple the time (but that's also because I'm just lazy).

I think that I really want to emphasize that I'm the only one working. Aside from Ford 4466 and Decent900 helping me with starting the art assets and even a tiny bit of code, most of everything I've done so far, up to par, has been worked on all by me in my spare time. Even after school, even as my break from long essay writings, and even as things to do during my weekend instead of playing the game where monkeys pop balloons, but you get my point.

This has, so far, not really been something that I even try to make money out of. Yeah, sure, it might benefit me in the long run, but until I actually get some job or internship, I don't exactly have much skill to accomplish this. Even with all this work I'm doing—yes, it's a lot—but it still doesn't feel right. Maybe something just doesn't sit well with me, especially with my work ethic, but, in the end, it's just something I'm doing for fun.

Heat and Staerie have taken my game development journey so far, and I refuse to back down on them; they are my creations that have made me go more forward. With additional support from the people I love and care for, and with you reading right now, I really don't have much else to say but:

Thank you for supporting me and my journey! I will continue onwards to make you all have a game that'll be worth your time!

Hope whoever may be reading this had a good Fourth of July, and I hope you guys have a great night. Y'all are great.
