BE Internal Physical Game Score Ratings Guide [First Reveal]

Our Definition of a Physical Game:

A Physical Game is any digital content that can be printed, or sold physically as a means of entertainment. The main idea is that the game must be able to be used physically.

NB:  Physical Games Ratings differ only slightly from Digital Games Ratings.

Ratings Guide:

1. Appearance

  • The Game Cover ( 1 - 10 )
  • Store Page Readability ( 0 - 5 )
  • Screenshot Quality ( 0 - 15 )

2. Store Page Body ( 1 - 40)

3. Store Page Safety and Restrictions:

  • Store Page Safety ( 0 - 5 )
  •  Store Page Restrictions ( 0 - 5)

4. Relationships ( 1 - 20 )

Definition:

1. The Game Cover: This is the mostly the first part of the game the consumer will see. The Game Cover score is based on clarity and lack of unnecessary abstractedness.

2. Store Page Readability: This is determined by if a Store Page can easily be read from start to finish without having to make any changes to the page.

 3. Screenshot Quality: This is based on the clarity of the screenshots. Screenshot Quality Score is not affected by the integrity of any Screenshot.

4. Store Page Body: This is determined by the correct use of language (only English is considered), Absence of hate speech, Absence of Malicious Links, and its ability to describe the game.

5. Store Page Safety: This is to check if the store page contains any link to unsafe sites (http are also included since they can be intercepted). This is is also affected by copywrited contents which the Store Owner doesn’t have rights. This also applies to screenshots of the game and images embedded in the page.

6. Store Page Restrictions: This checks if a game has relevant restrictions or tags on its page. For example, an Adult Game should have the NSFW Tag marked in its Project Properties and an AI-Generated Game should have an AI-Content tag attached.

7. Relationships: This is a tricky score group. It is based on the relationship between the store body, genre, game cover and files provided for download. All of the previously mentioned, must be consistent in its content.

N.B: A Game will not be rated if it has no file to be downloaded or nothing written in its store page body.
