I'm sorry for not updating you sooner on my progress for chapter two. A lot has happened in the last month. My PC refuses to switch on, so I have been struggling to write and code, stealing time on my work PC whenever I can. That is a huge reason why the chapter is taking so long. I don't know when I can afford to fix it, so please bear with me. I'm writing on my phone and coding after work as much as I can.

In other news, progress for chapter two has been going well, albeit slowly. I currently have 41k words written for part one, and I'm really happy with the sections. I initially projected for part one to be 40k words, but when I decided to add a section where players can talk to Theo, Astrid and Nico about the upcoming Soul Trial, it ballooned in size. It is a lot of extra work, but honestly, I'm glad I added it. I think players will enjoy getting the insight on the soul trial and learn more about the characters.

Part one will allow players to learn about what happened after they passed out, react to the events, prepare for the soul trial and then participate in the test. It will end with the player passing the test and being taken to the Soulforge Order base. I have about 3/4 of part one completed currently. The only sections left to write are Astrid and Nico's campsite hangouts and the final section of the soul trial.

Once again, I apologise for the wait, and I hope you can bear with me a little longer.
