End of '24

Given I want to try and make posts every so often- with the hope of uploading more projects and such- I thought it might be fun to make a post to end off this year.

Though I've released a few projects, my recent game is the first thing I've made and posted as just simply a passion project- not being done for a Jam or as part of an assignment. It's interesting to share my work with the intent of finding an audience, given I mainly just make things for the sake of trying stuff out. I've always had a passion for creating, ideating, and writing stories- though I've mostly stuck to keeping those things to myself as a hobby. I'm a bit of a reserved person evidently >~<. I worry about sharing things but there's no better way to learn and improve! It'll be fun and nerve wracking to continue putting my writing and ideas/concepts out there for anyone to look at and experience!

I don't exactly have many things in mind for next year- planning too far in advance makes me anxious. Though, I do have things in the works currently that will be seeing the light of day during it!

> The most important being the voice acting content update to Ouroboros- worst case it'll be out by end of Spring! Work is being done on it so I can't wait to share it! c:

> Following that, I have been working on a draft for another small project. It might end up being about the same word count as Ouroboros. The general premise is about meeting someone by chance over the course of a few weeks, and the way you interact with them. It'll be in single day snap shots- one day a week type of thing. I don't plan on it being like a meet-cute romantic type thing, but that might change as I continue writing it. I'm not sure currently if it'll have more complexity than Ouroboros as it is still early days on it! Once the draft is done I will make more of a proper post about it- giving a better synopsis and information.

> Another thing I'd like to do, as mentioned previously, is releasing a demo for my larger project. I've been waiting for the holidays to finish up before I take a look at it with fresh eyes. So long as I still think the writing is where it needs to be, I will get production on it back up and running! I will make a post properly announcing the concept as lead-up to the demo releasing- and character introductions. There is still a lot of cleanup I need to do visually for it regardless of the story itself. So even after I announce it- the demo might not be released at the same time, but I might try to make them coincide for ease.

In any case, that's the run down! I do want to participate in some Game Jams again- might motivate me to pick up Unity again or learn Godot, that or I'll stick to Ren'Py lol. So hopefully other than some kind of slow postings and personal project uploads, there'll be other things every so often. It has truly been a joy for me to release a game I am so passionate about...I really loved the entire process of learning and making Ouroboros, and can't wait to continue to apply and learn with every project proceeding it! This isn't the last you'll hear from me that's for sure! ^-^

Thank you very much for viewing this post- and if you've ever checked out any of my game uploads it's greatly appreciated. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and have a wonderful new year. Cheers <3
