Well... this caught on unexpectedly so PSA about SAVING THE GAME.

I'll try to keep it brief but I know at least one person has run into the question of saving progress;

It just isn't possible on the browser due to limits of GB Studio which it was made with. The ROM files are compatible with every emulator (or anything that support save states) that I'm aware of. Delta (IOS/Mac) or BGB64 (Win) or Retroarch etc.

As it is possible anyway to enter the choices you make at the start of any episode, this is the best I could do. It's known to work on every emulator I'm aware of - as far back as on an unexpanded Amiga 1200 - and 1) I knew most people would just download the ROM and be able to save state that way, 2) I know it can be done on anything from the most basic of Android/IOS devices, laptops, netbooks, using save states and 3)well... Gameboy games often worked that way. You had to get through them in one go, and before your batteries ran out! ;)

So, download the ROMs and use an emulator with save states. The browser play was just an easy bonus that I could do with GB Studio and let people get an idea of if they'd want to continue. If you already started - most emulators will even let you turn up the speed, so you could quickrun back to where you had gotten to.

(And if anyone really cares for the technical issue; GB Studio 1.21 allowed saving and loading. What it did not do however was save the variables - the player choices - as part of that. So you could reload, come to a scene that would depend on knowing if you reported Nathan for example... and it would have no information either way and just stop dead. Nothing I could do about that one!)

A quick thanks to P1 vs The World's Adnan and Adam for their incredibly generous noting of the project, along with pockettactics's Kayleigh Partleton for an actual article dedicated to it, and LiSfans dot com. Considering even 1% of the total views right now would've been ten times my original hope for such a niche project... Yeah.

Thank you.
