Collected Episodes, Super Gameboy, future plans...

Let's get the more important bit out of the way first.

Life is 2-D: A Gameboy 'What if?' .zip file

With still zero bugs reported a week on for Ep 5 - and indeed all of the episodes, this is the final intended release, combining all five main .gb ROMs, plus the two coloUr variants for the boot screen in 4/5, plus the five main non-colour ROMs with some crappy Super Gameboy "polaroid-style" borders for the Super Gameboy hardware, or emulators that support it.

With this, the full title returns to "Life is 2-D: A Gameboy 'What if?'"...although unofficially, it's also the "Arcadia Bae Collection" because that pun is too good to let go.

TLDR: If you want a nice neat 2.5Mb zip of all five episodes, plus these variants, well, there you go.

As for future plans... I tried GB Studio 4.0 and I immediately found it much slower, more confusing, more clunky and crucially still missing the depreciated features that are essential from 1.21. It would take thousands more commands and extra scripts just to do the basic things I can in 1.21.

While I will be (trying to) take a pause to actually play some games again (Banishers!) I MIGHT decide to go forward with trying to adapt Life is Strange 2, or even Twin Mirror.  I think 2 could work very well, but I need to look at it a bit more in depth before I decide anything. I tried to make a version of Sean a while back and couldn't get a good take on him.

We'll see how that goes. For now, I hope everyone enjoys revisiting the Bay and the Bae in this version of what is my "silly little fangame" tribute to the original Life is Strange and all of the creators at Don't Nod.

Lost Recor2ds? Maybe, some day. I can't wait for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage!
