Hello everyone

This is LittleMugGames, nice to see you again after all this time.

Rylee’s Lunchboxes will be available for free for 2 weeks to celebrate the Debut Anniversary of my first game INITIALIZE_GUARDIANS, but you might be more interested in what I’ve done in this year of absence. First of all I took the rest of 2023 off to reschedule some of my university work and work on myself, then I started to conceptualise my next project. Unfortunately it is still stuck on its planning phase because an essential piece of its creation still needs to be done before I actually lay some real groundwork. It will be kept secret for a while and should be ready by the end of the year, so you can expect a new release in 2025.

The most important point of this post will be my imminent departure: my next project will be my last as LittleMugGames. I thought about what I want to achieve in the future and I realised that in order to move forward I needed to have a rebrand to promote more ambitious games that could not afford the “free after 1 year from release” plan. To improve as a game developer I also thought of taking a longer break to learn more things and find new inspirations to elevate my projects to new heights that I wouldn’t be able to reach now, taking also the opportunity to be financially stable to allow me to focus on my passion without monetary burdens. This won’t be my last anniversary post as I expect to deliver another one next year following the release of my next game that I can’t wait to develop. I’m extremely grateful for your support: my current stats (14.5k views, 860 downloads, 43 followers) show an impressive growth that makes me proud of my accomplishments, despite the fact that they’re starting to age a little bit towards a not pleasant direction. Nevertheless, they are proof in time of those years where all the hard work and sacrifices gave form to a new creation that the world was able to witness, all coming from me.
