Hello everyone
This is LittleMugGames, here to make an announcement (I’m still working on something, believe it or not)
As I just found out about this feature that allows me to post general updates instead of publishing the same DevLog for each of my games, I'm here to show you a little update on what I'm working on and my thoughts on what happened in my absence.
The next project that will be released in the next few months is a cooking simulator game called Rylee’s Lunchboxes, a cozy yet exciting experience set in a distant future where an underground robot society lives peacefully. Located in a train station, YumGem Lunchboxes serves top quality lunchboxes fulled with nutritious meals made by the talented newcomer Rylee: here’s a little preview of the general gameplay!
The release date will depend on how my exams will turn out and how much time I can dedicate myself to completing it while I’ll be busy with a summer job, but I’ll do my best to complete it in a matter of weeks as just a few things are missing before it will be available for download (with a 100% sale for the first two weeks, as always).
Talking about what happened in this year of absence, there’s a lot going on: having experienced some unfortunate events, I had to delay the latest project to focus more on dealing with personal problems and my education. As much as I want to, it’s difficult to focus on my passion and hobbies while having acceptable grades in my university carrer. For this reason I’ll probably take more time off before starting with the development of a new game in order to prepare for my exams better without stress. As well as balancing my studies, I will take advantage of this time off to improve my artistic skills to deliver better experiences so I hope that next time there will be a notable difference from my current lineup.
I’ll keep this “thought dump” brief this year as I mostly expressed my philosophy behind LittleMugGames last time. Despite the bad things that happened, I’m proud of the challenges I overcame and I’m glad to have had the chance to do the things that I love in a heartwarming setting with other talented people.
The stats of my page shows a very interesting change as more people downloaded my projects relative to the views (10453 views, 421 downloads, 26 followers) and there’s also people who financially supported me: I’m extremely grateful for this and I think that you can imagine the joy and rush of adrenaline I had when the notification of a payment came out of nowhere. To commemorate the debut anniversary as well as the itch.io Summer Sale, TRICOSMOS: Cardinals Legacy will be available for sale for the last time before its conversion to a free project and be one of the last people to view the page while the game still maintains its status as a paid game.
As I remind you that English is not my mother language and I beg for your forgiveness if everything I said doesn’t flow very well, I’ll hopefully see you soon with the release of Rylee’s Lunchboxes as LittleMugGames continues to be my little universe where I’m able to show the world what I’m capable of, even if you may see it as garbage I will still love my dear babies deep in my heart.
Have a nice day and see you next time!
