Design-Our projectile's design is an arrow with a sleek style and an icy blue tint. This projectile is an ability that may be wielded by the player after acquiring orbs around the level that enables the players ability to utilize it. The main character is a ghost and may utilize these missiles to ward off enemies in the game such as demons and polteigiest who are attempting to take out the protagonist. The arrow is also slightly transparent, taking inspiration from the player being a ghost.
Funtionality-The projectile arrow will spin while moving forwards, with smoke and debris trailing behind it to give it a dynamic look. There is also a dark blue particle effect that trails behind the smoke to add more detail to it and give the arrow more impact when using the attack. The player can shoot this attack by pressing the left mouse button click, or the player can hold down the left mouse button click to fire multiple arrows at a faster rate.
Software-I modeled an arrow inside Maya and unwrap the uv's. Once I was able to do that, I took the fbx model into unity and added some particle effects using the vfx graph. To get smoke and debris to follow behind the arrow, I used a trail system to follow the arrow. To get the trail, I made a wave-like trail inside krita and added that as a texture to the shader gaph I used and made the projectile into a prefab.
