Hello all, Shirley here. Yeah, just Shirley. I'm going to stop typing "Sana/Shirley", it's getting annoying. I don't even go by Sana anymore, so it's about time I quit including that in my posts starting now. (The only reason I even did that to begin with was because I hadn't updated my itch name in ages. I've just done so now, so no more "Sana/Shirley".)

If you're here, you've definitely read the title already. Maybe you're expecting something bad, like "oh no, Pinori got cancelled for the 9 millionth time", or "oh here's yet another drama surrounding something stupid Shirley did". Thankfully, this post is more or less about the former, but I wouldn't necessarily say the game is cancelled. More like "development was already in a limbo sort of state, but it's going to be even slower until further notice". (This may seem confusing to read if you've seen my various posts about cancelling the game. The truth is, I've been slowly working on pieces of the story regardless of the state of development. The soundtrack is a whole other can of worms, but what I'm trying to get at is, despite me saying numerous times that the game is cancelled, I've been trying my hardest to make progress in hopes of uncancelling it in the future.)

Excuse the context dump, but it's important for you to understand the post:

Just shy of 2 weeks ago (as of this post), I began trying out tulpamancy. I'm not going to go on a tangent about what it is (firstly I'm tired of explaining it to everyone that asks, and second there's an entire subreddit called r/tulpa that you can do your own research in), so to make a long story short it's related to systems. No, not computer systems, I mean systems as in headmates, multiple people in one body; no identity disorder. Plurals, plurality, if you will. At first, when I was still learning about it and being educated on the different types of systems, I worried that my system friends, the traumagenic ones in particular, would shame me for trying it; turns out I was just being silly... or was I?

Ever since I began the process of tulpamancy, I'd kept track of the days by writing "day [x] of the journey", "the journey" referring to tulpamancy, but I wanted to keep things a surprise for a while. Eventually, after a long while of friends asking me what "the journey" was (and me having to explain it to them over and over), Sketch (someone who wanted to help develop Pinori) was next to ask. I was at a point where I was tired of explaining things, so I told him about r/tulpa and told him to do some digging. Imagine my surprise when the first thing he said after having done his research was, in short (and far from verbatim): "tulpamancy is satanic, give it up or I'm blocking you". I'm not even kidding; here are the last messages between us before he blocked me: 
Yeah... my first encounter with an anti-endo was Sketch himself. To summarise my reaction with a meme, "my disappointment is immeasurable". I didn't feel as though my day was "ruined" per se, so scratch that half of the quote, but I guess I shouldn't be THAT surprised that he reacted the way he did considering he's religious, which, of course he was.

Before you ask, "anti-endo" is short for "anti-endogenic", a term used to describe people who are against endogenic systems ("endogenic" systems being systems not formed by traumatic experience). Since I never discussed topics like this with him before, I'm unsure if he thinks someone has to have an identity disorder to be a system or if he's just against endogenic systems (or just tulpamancy) in particular, so I'm not going to assume he's a sysmed (Google that one), hence me defaulting to anti-endo to refer to him.

After taking a moment to process what just happened, I decided to block him back; the desire to cut contact is now mutual. This means there'll be no more "chances"; this is the end of my association with Sketch and vice versa. If I'm going to get Pinori done, I need someone other than him to do it. I'm sure I'll find someone, but it'll take a while.

This post is not meant to "expose" or "cancel" Sketch, nor is it meant to be an attack in any way, shape or form. I will never condone the harassment of anyone I mention in a negative light (I don't condone harassment AT ALL, how about that?), so if you go out of your way to attack Sketch just because I publicly brought up a small disagreement, you're only becoming part of the problem.

TL;DR Sketch and I got into a disagreement about tulpamancy, so we mutually made the decision to cut contact with each other (permanently this time). He blocked me because he thinks tulpamancy is "Satanic activity", while I blocked him because his view of tulpamancy is anti-endo.
P.S. This decision will not impact the development of PyNori, my smaller project that's based off of Pinori. This is because PyNori does not require graphics, as it is a text-based game.
