Monthly Dev Log - May 2024

Hi everybody!

New month, not new me - I am up to my regular update shenanigans.
I have once more did a speedrun with IF jams/comps (who could have predicted it...).
As always, the (slightly) longer version is on Tumblr.

Done in April

> Les lettres du Docteur Jeangille [BUMP]
Mainly because I've fixed a few issues, changed some fonts.
The Spring Thing is still ongoing, and you can vote for your favourite games there!
If you've played Jeangille and enjoyed it, I'd love to hear about it !

> Lysidice and the Minotaur [NEW]
Created for the Text Adventure Literacy Jam, a parser for beginner players! With simple commands, short puzzles with hints, and helpful side documentation. You can play it here!
I crunched it until the really last moment...

> The Trials and Tribulations of Edward Harcourt (Final Version)

All edits are with MelS, along with further comments. Mainly waiting for him to get the documents back, working on some visual elements in the meantime.

> Game Jams Organisation

The Dialogue Jam just ended! But you can look forward this month to the REALLY BAD IF Jam and the Locus Jam. And if you're feeling more romantic, there's the Anti-Romance Jam starting soon.

Planned for May

Doing it chill would probably be good.

> The Trials and Tribulations of Edward Harcourt (Final version)
Wait for MelS to send me back the files so I can code it all.

> Update or Fix any other game...

> Game Jams Organisation:
Oh, well, just check the links above xD

Peace!
