SomethingOS update APRIL 13

Hi, all!

I don't have as much time to write as I normally do, but I want to remind you all that I still exist, and I am still working hard on SomethingOS.

After I switched to Godot's vanilla control nodes and started using reference images for my websites, I've been able to make them feel a lot more convincing and fun to interact with. Here is one website I've worked on:

When I was working on the demo for SomethingOS, the game didn't seem like it was going to be all that good. This version of the game seems like it will be absolutely AMAZING, but only if I work really, really hard on it.

If it's up to me, I plan to spend years of my life getting better at making this specific type of game. Even years into this project, I still feel really excited about this project, and I think it has SO much potential to be something special. I've never really felt that way about a game before.

It is starting to worry me a bit how much work it's taking to make even seemingly simple websites for this game, but as long as I'm spending time on this craft, I trust I'll get better and faster over time.

As always, I'll see you all in the next devlog. Bye!
