New Difficulty Modifier, Escort Mode: Press I to Spawn a Soul Escort for that Stage. Makes Game more Strategic and somewhat more Difficult. Don't let Elite Enemies or Projectiles hit your Soul Escort or you will take Damage.

I also want to take this opportunity to mention the existence of other "Cheats" that exist in both Game Versions:

God Mode: Press G after the Level Select Cheat Bell Tolls (Unlock Level Select to use this)

Monster Multiply: Press O to Spawn more Enemies to increase Mob Size and Stage Difficulty. Do not overuse or Game will become unplayable. There is no limits in place for how many Enemies can be in a Stage. Recommended Presses 1-3.
