So... My thoughts are as follows... What do I do?
I tried really hard to seek an amicable solution in which no one would get left behind, but apparently once you raise your prices... Itchio locks you out and dont allow you to download an update if a price is increased even if I give parties who wanted to keep up free keys, which is me literally showing you that I don't want you locked out but well, that is straight from Itchio support.
So what do I do? I havent any idea. This price increase was my last and due to financial struggles, it was done early and haphazardly to help myself out of a hole. I am sorry for being the starving artist archetype... Part of this is indeed my fault, that is true... I did make every attempt to correct this... You can only try...
The long-term answer is kinda murky. Those that accepted the price increase and havent said anything seem to be the majority and if I drop it back, THEY might get upset too... Only a handful took my offer. So... What to do for the future? Well, that was the FINAL price increase. BUT I don't expect you to pay for that again... So... Err... What can you do??? All I can think of are work arounds...
---------------------------------
The ones that had the issue will be recontacted and I'll be creating a channel on my discord where I drop updates for affected parties, so you aren't left behind... Discord Link (Join and contact me on there with your reciept)
Suggesting you instead join Patreon where customer service isn't sometimes obscured by Itchio and their sites' bylaws and you ALWAYS get what you pay for..... Because its entirely ME you deal with... Prices start at $3 a month for updates and in-depth talk I don't say here too often... Plus I drop original content on there from time to time.
---------------------------------
I feel BOTH are solid ideas and will be implemented from here on out. So... Anyone who has had this issue, email me AGAIN at themagicalfuta@gmail.com and have your reciept and a Discord name ready. Nothing else I can do on Itchio. They said their peace and unfortunately, all that was done here is done. We can only move forward. We all lose here, no one wins. For that, I am sorry...
All this on Asia/Serena's birthday week too... Happy birthday to us. :(

I am okay with it going forward it was always just meant as a means of support i can wait for the newest builds
What's the problem?
You apparently raise a price and you deny former owners their ownership rights. That really puts me behind the 8 ball.
I still have access but I paid money for a bundle.
No idea...
