Senior Thesis, Journal Entry 6: Break Time Is Over

Okay, so after that weird sabbatical I took. Was I depressed? We’ll never know. This entry’s belated to say the least. So I’ll cut to the chase. Buttons? Easy, scripting, probably, maybe, idk could easy.

Okay so even with just buttons I’ll still need some kind of light scripting to say, “hey the jeep won’t appear until you talk to the ranger” and etc. while I’m at it, the four or so items in the office will also need functions attached. And I know that using my handy little chart Professor Schweizer made for me, physically mapping out every function in the game so far (which was very helpful BTW). Also, making text in Decker’s pretty tedious. Whatever — at first I wanted nice symmetrical labels at the very least for this initial phase but now I understand uh no, we’re not doing that yet. Next question? So I like buttons? Yeah they’re okay. If I can figure out something better I’ll use the better thing y’know? Should I probably have done that already? Oh for sure. Will I do it next? Yeah buddy, can’t wait.

Okay Chapters? Dry, but I’ll get through it (No offense), I really mean it. Please don’t get offended. They’re just really lonnngg. It’s video game, not learning how to make a heart transplant. I’ve read Mallon and sharp, so I can survive, but hot damn I gotta play halo infinite or something in-between these things. Of course it’s good info though. Okay so up until Tulsa and it’s three paths (just mean three more buttons), I have mapped out with Buttons, which is pretty much all of it. But it’s buttons. Eh. Just kinda eh. Four buttons at the end also looks kinda clunky.

Behold Office, with one F. Goddammit I noticed it just now.

Graphic design? Not for me.
