Alphabet Superset #6: F

This is my sixth entry into the alphabet superset challenge by Struthless. The theme for this entry was "Fantasy", the first word that comes to my mind when I think "F".

The thing that came to my mind when I thought "fantasy" was - is it possible to make a RPG in bitsy? With levels, skills and quests and stuff? I went for a walk, during which my brain figured out a way to maybe make that possible. After returning I quickly put together a prototype, proving that everything worked as I imagined it would. Basically any numbers would be stored in variables - obviously - an NPC would be used to display status bar, and to get random numbers I'd just shuffle six dialogue lines, each containing a line assigning a different number to a variable. So I had a working RPG combat system.

But when I was working on that prototype, another thing came up. Basically, I proved that I could program a RPG system in bitsy, but the resulting game would have been horrendous and totally missing the point of making stuff in bitsy - namely, making short narrative experiences, vignettes or tiny adventures.

So I did what a good bitsy developer would do - I made it into a commentary about human condition and a reflection on where we are headed. Or just a silly joke, you decide. Here's the game.
