One of the main issues I had when starting work on the AI for Ferem Cerebrem, was Unity 2022.3's navmesh. In older versions it was just an editor window and it was included in the base download. Now it is a package you have to install yourself and it is best used as a component on a bit of ground you want to use. I only learned this after combing through 6 videos about 2022.3's new navmesh features. Once I understood that, I got the AI roaming about and navigating as I wanted it to.
