So it's not a very interesting story why  I've been absent.  If you guessed U.S. healthcare system or psychiatric disaster give yourself half a point.  I'm not fully recovered but my hands are stable and I can feel my higher brain functions starting to rev up again.  Apologies to anyone I ghosted, but I couldn't think of a way to explain why I wasn't making progress without oversharing or being a huge downer.

Checking my analytics I'm not convinced pay-walling my content was worth it.  The bonus pay is so marginal I hardly feel it.  Besides, I started pricing due to fear of undercutting other artists, but without a wide breadth of content I couldn't really harm anyone doing this for a living.  I'm also no longer feeling threatened by  "AI" scraping, if they could've made us obsolete they already would have.

I've tried free and paid, but now I'm trying a new pricing model.  I'm going back to a suggested pay price but adding a little bonus for people who actually choose to pay it or already have contributed that amount to the project.  We'll see how it works out.

In any case, recovery is my only real priority right now, so I don't expect to be animating late into the night any time soon.  I'm still cautiously optimistic that I'll get the chance to wrap up the big release that got sidelined months ago.
