The recent phase of development has been dedicated to enhancing the boss encounter's complexity and impact. This week, my focus shifted towards implementing dynamic interactions between the boss AI and its goons, as well as integrating enriching sound effects. These additions aimed to elevate the overall engagement and excitement players would experience during the boss battle.

Part 2: Dynamic Interactions

One of the key advancements this week involved crafting interactions between the boss AI and its goons. This enhancement entailed meticulous adjustments to both the boss's behavior and its goons' AI scripts. Now, when the boss initiates an aggressive chase, the goons are programmed to follow suit, relentlessly pursuing the player. This coordinated strategy adds a new layer of challenge and urgency to the boss encounter, compelling players to navigate a battlefield where every entity is united in purpose.

Conversely, the goons have also been engineered to mirror the boss's retreat behavior. When the boss decides to fall back, the goons now tactically retreat as well, demonstrating an elevated level of AI coordination. This dynamic interplay between boss and goons generates an ever-changing battlefield where player choices matter and strategy becomes paramount.
