A Half-Finished Class for a God PC

I made this on impulse without a clear idea of what I would use it in. Inspired by https://wasitlikely.blogspot.com/2023/02/interesting-modifiers-for-skills.html 

Gods have Powers that are defined by Skills. Skills are modified by Boons and Banes. A God can have multiple Powers of the same kind of Skill, as long as they have at least one difference in their list of Boons and Banes. A Power always succeeds, but using it requires a roll on the Minutes Table. 

The Skills are as follows: 

  1. Consuming
  2. Art
  3. Crafting
  4. Games
  5. Movement
  6. Storytelling
  7. Farming
  8. Deductive Reasoning
  9. Changing Worldviews
  10. Dealmaking
  11. Knowing People
  12. Bureaucracy

The Boons improve a Skill. When the word “chosen” is used in a Boon’s description, it is the player that does the choosing:

  1. Unmatched - Anything theoretically accomplishable with a traditional use of this Skill can be done by the user
  2. Uncanny - The user can ignore 1 chosen requirement of performing this Skill (gunshots could make no sound, a sword could cut without being drawn, a lock could be picked without picks).
  3. Unstoppable - This Skill can always be performed, regardless of the condition of the user
  4. Impossible - This Skill can be used on 1 chosen impossible target (wind can be cut, hearts lockpicked)
  5. Conjuration - This Skill can be used to mystically create 1 chosen thing
  6. Manipulation - This Skill can be used to mystically shape/move 1 chosen thing
  7. Divination - This Skill can be used to mystically reveal an answer to questions about 1 chosen thing
  8. Transmutation - This Skill can be used to mystically change 1 chosen thing to 1 other chosen thing
  9. Swift - The Skill is performed without rolling on the Minutes Table.
  10. Stealthy - The Skill can be performed without being detected.
  11. Far-reaching - The Skill can be used at great distances or on a large scale.
  12. Permanent - The effects of the Skill last forever and cannot be undone.

The Banes hamper a skill. When the word “chosen” is used in a Bane’s description, it is the GM who does the choosing: 

  1. Dependent - requires the aid of another
  2. Unmistakable - user has some chosen physical mark that is very difficult to hide and strongly hints at the nature of the Skill
  3. Wearying - causes the user to gain 1 Hunger when it is used
  4. Erratic - always effects either more or less than the user wishes, GM's choice. 
  5. Noisy - The Skill creates a loud noise or disturbance that attracts attention throughout the entire Hex. 
  6. Sacrifice - The Skill requires the user to give up something valuable or significant in order to use it, such as 100 coins, a relationship, or 1 xp.
  7. Time-bound - The Skill can only be used during (chosen upon taking the Skill) Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, the day, the night.
  8. Backlash - Using the Skill may drains your luck, and gives you Disadvantage on the next thing that you could have Disadvantage on. 

When you take a level in God, including your first, choose any of the following:

  • Gain a Power with a Skill of your choice. Choose 1, 2, 3, or 4. The power gets that many random Boons, and that many random Banes.
  • Choose a Power you already have. It change one of its Boons, or one of its Banes, to one of your choice.
