I've been thinking abut starting a blog for a while. I haven't been able to find a good platform to use for it. I'm going to be trying this one, and substack. 

I'm optimistic about using this one, because I have a built-in following on here. 

Twitter has, in the past, been my main platform -- but I feel that it has always had limits as a platform for real discussion... and, for reasons I choose not to mention, I fear that it is not particularly long for this world.
