This time we're talking about the Raris. Also known as the "Blue." They are the solar neighbors of the Qinians, or the "Grey" and are almost always seen alongside them. Their planet is a large ocean, made up of around 90% water on the surface; with small islands and continents poking out of the waves.

Without a lot of trees, they were forced to find other sources of building materials to advance their tech. They found this is large batches of extremely tough sea reeds, that when dried, were a lot like wood. 

Because land was so scarce on their planet, in their early years, they mastered sailing to find more land to settle. After they had settled all of their world, they turned to the stars. It was then they discovered their neighbors in their solar system.

Once they started to master spaceflight, which their culture had placed a heavy focus on, they soon went to the planet of the Qinians. While the first several decades were hard, they eventually became extremely steadfast allies.

They are shorter, stocky, and often act as the muscle to their lankier brethren and have a skill with piloting that Qinians have a hard time matching.

However, this doesn't mean they are just dumb brutes.

They are remarkably social as the limited space on their planet meant that isolation wasn't really very feasible.

This sociability means they have a tendency to become shop owners. After all, if you're good at it, why not make some credits doing what you're good at?

They share their Qinian ally's dislike of true AI as they had tried to create one shortly before leaving their planet. And it went poorly, the aftermath set them back decades and cost them millions of lives.

Because of this history, most Raris NPC's don't trust Ghosts, though they won't show it.
