Haj looked over the small, pink bunny-looking thing. They called it a "Peep."

Apparently, from what Freddie had told him, it was an human delicacy and had been around for hundreds of years in mostly the same form. Marshmallows coated in colors sugar crystals. After searching for it on the Net, Haj had discovered that a lot of people liked it, and others considered it something akin to blasphemy.

Taking a bite of it, the first thing he noticed was that despite being a marshmallow, it was still surprisingly tough and springy. And sweet. Hands down the sweetest thing he had ever eaten. It was almost cloying. Nothing that the Sen had created was like this. They would never create something that was so sweet it almost overpowered you.

He looked at the remaining half of the Peep. The little black pieces of candy were almost staring at him. He popped it into his mouth and swallowed it whole.

The "Peep" was disgusting. But Haj found himself looking for more.
