From the past playtest my main focus was refining the rulebook of our game. One of the biggest pieces of feedback I received was way too many pages of text for playtesters to read through. This not only makes getting into the game and absolutely slow process to get into but causes players to get overloaded with information. This in turn made players forget about a lot of the rules of the game as nothing they read in the text actually stuck with them. Moving forward for the most recent playtest, the rulebook was completely reworked. I cut a lot of the filler text in the rules and kept things very clear and concise. This made the rulebook a lot easier to read and easier for players to get into playing. However, I ended up missing a few core mechanics and will need to touch up the rulebook one last time before submission. The other major element I worked on was card art for the complication cards. This was just finishing things up for the art and going forward I can spend more time working on rules. All in all the project is going fairly well, we have had a few bumps along the way but our team was able to bounce back.
