What to do when you think you're game is too big

NOTE: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL I AM JUST A MASTER OVERSCOPER AND THIS IS WHAT I DO TO FIX IT

  • This is a stage of doubt: meaning you should probably wrap things up 
  • Don't throw money at the problem (below is taken from a comment I made) 


  • Breaks often turn into long term procrastination:  this is how games are never made, if you feel you need a break more often than not it means it's time to wrap the game up
  • If you have a demo, you have a good gameplay loop: don't add more features, just make more content: add a few more levels, a story arch, an ending (if your game requires one) then send it and move on.
