There was a very specific game I'd see pop up all the time as "similar games," but now that I'm looking for it, it isn't anywhere no matter what I input into Itch.io or Google!
It was a super-vivid/Cruelty Squad-colored, DOOM-like FPS/shooter in an arena where you played a cyber/machine angel killing demons, I believe in what was described as a place in cyberspace. There was mention of a leaderboard and background lore of the populace making bets on the angels' performances, a very capitally-corrupted/dystopian future of sorts that people plugged into, might've been some under-the-radar betting type of deal. There were a number of actual purchase options to support the game as well, but I don't remember much of them since they weren't as relevant (I think it included OST stuff, but my memory is super fuzzy).
It had what I think was a demo? You survived and cleared waves as long as you could, kiting enemies and sometimes running through gates around a large circular arena to teleport elsewhere, keeping you from getting cornered too easily.
