Is there an indicative date to when the game will be finished (version 1.0)?

I noticed that in the new update units no longer level up mid-fight when they eat enough vessels, is this mechanic removed? I really liked it and it would be a shame to have it removed. 

I already noticed that the stats increase was also higher in the first few version of the game, while in the latest ones the level ups already looked to be less impactful.

I don't know if anybody else already asked this question, but is there already a release date for when the full game will be finished? Or is it still TBD?
