This game is looking beautiful. I love the quirky little interactions - like feeding the dog an apple. I love the simple fishing. It doesn't need to be a complex and skilled mini game. Let's assume your character knows how to fish. I love the prospect of multiple towns to explore and choose friends from. I love the idea of memories different people and animals have of your actions and the implications it will have on your relationships and the real world. I will give more feedback once I have played the demo more but I do wish to suggest one feature
You say the game will have mysteries, but what I would LOVE to see are randomly generated crimes to solve. Murder mysteries maybe. Clues laying around in people's houses. Interrogate people. Select your approach. Friendly. Tough. Flirty. Nothing too complicated but something that might pop up once in a blue moon. Have you ever heard of the old c64 game Murder on the Zinderneuf?
I know. I ask too much. I just had to throw it out there.
