Thank you! I haven't made a game like this before so it is good to get feedback on how to make it better.

I think you have a pretty fun game here. I liked the simplicity of it and how it was arcade-ish in with the high score system. One thing I would look at is the sound design. especially the jump sound which is a bit grating to listen to.

Wow thank you so much!!!

I did want to add a story to it, but the time really caught up on me in the end. I will try and make something for next time though.

I am HORRIBLE with art, and my friend who usually does art stuff with me is out of the country for a bit, so I had to do it myself. I for sure think that it could be better, but I wasn't going to be able to do much better.

That also came down to time, I had pretty much forgotten about sound/music until last minute, and once I found sites and figured out how to get proper usage rights I didn't have enough time to implement everything in.

I think if I had better time management I would give the game the polish it needed, and thank you for all of the feedback!

Thanks! I'm learning through this how hard difficulty/timing can be to make in a game.

My game is called Broken Robot, and it is a puzzle platformer where you can only press each button once per level.

This is my first game jam here. It was a lot more fun of an experience than I thought, as I was really worried I wouldn't be able to make the game in time. I ended up really enjoying it and will hopefully be back next year!

Thanks. I spent a while figuring out how to time/set everything up for the levels, and it seems like I could work on that more next time.

I will try and check that out soon.

1. I would like some feedback on how I use the theme in the game itself

2. My goal was to try and make a game that would focus a lot on the theme. I have found some games that I liked but I didn't think used the theme to the extent they could have.

Thanks for the feedback!

I thought about having pickups to refresh the button presses, but I wanted to make sure that the "Only One" was really at the forefront of the game.

Thanks! I hope I can make more levels next time so that there is a less strong difficulty curve.

Thanks.

I wanted to make it tougher since it was a shorter game, like an old NES game. I will definitely take think about this on future games though.

Wow thanks.

Fun game, Wilhelm scream is always a plus.

It was a fun game overall. I liked the Wilhelm scream when I died. One thing I would suggest is making it easier to see the harpoon after it is thrown, especially on walls where it is hidden.

Sorry the installer was acting weird and I can't risk anything like that on my computer.

Rated. I think it was a good start but need a bit more meat to it.

Both levels were pretty cool, but it was kind of short.

Yeah I get what you mean, I have spent probably too much time trying to get ratings and stuff on here when really the impressive part was making the game. Best of luck to you in making it to the end!

It was a fun game, just before the too hard level for me.

I beat the game, but it took me a few deaths. Well made concept, it was hard but not too hard.

Really well made game, wish there was more!

Really fun game that seems like the synergies in card games that was mentioned in GMTK.

You are at double that now haha. I thought the game was great, but a bit short.

Really enjoyed this game. Everything looked and sounded great and the gameplay was unique. I only wish there was more to it.

Rated it.

The game looks really good and plays okay, but I found it to be kind of slow.

Rated it, it needs work but there's a start there.

The game looks cool, but lacks any sounds and is super glitchy. I think that if there was more play testing/time a good game could have come out of it.

Just rated, I like how the game follows the theme.
