I have a theory concerning Nik's route so, if you haven't played the game, don't keep reading *SPOILERS*
When the dynamite explodes inside the mines and hurt Dimitri, everything points to Ben, but I don't think the most obvious one here is the answer. It could be Sam but... My theory is that Dimitri is the one who sabotaged his own dynamite. Yes, he get's hurt, but he is a soldier, after all, I don't think he wouldn't getting a little bit hurt. After this, after what I could understand (I'm not an English speaker, sorry) a civil war is starting, and maybe this was his plan. After all, he is a soldier, so he must be very stratigic.
There is also a comment that Sam makes when he met Dimitri for the first time something like: "If Nik and Dimitri fight, I don't know wich one could win." Maybe a final fight between Nik and Dimitri, being Dimitri the bad guy? XD
I don't think that is it because when dimitri's dynamites went out (also with Felipe and Paul) Ben was the one to give them a box of new dynamites. How could Dimitri have sabotaged the dynamites when he didn't even see them?

What I understood is that Ben asked for some explosives, DImitri hand his bag to ben and, then, Ben comes back with the same bag, he hand't touched the dynamites because he said he didn't need to used them finally. So it wasn't a new box of dynamite, it was the same bag that dimitry handed him.

No real update schedule, keep in mind the team is working on multiple projects. Normally The Smoke Room gets a update every 1 and a half months depending on how busy they are

in the eco univrse, time and spirit communications usually only happens when substance abuse is involved such as LSD ( or something similar). Sam didnt take none of those in that scenario

After updating to the most recent version today, I powered through all of the available content, up until this update. After Echo, which scared me more than once, I wasn't sure whether I'd like this story or not, but, I have to admit, I've been enjoying what I've read so far. I just finished the newest update, and the cliffhanger (pardon the pun) things left on has me wondering where things will end up.

These builds are made in parallel. It would be about "build 7" for most of the plots if you think about there being 4 routes.
So, most routes are about over half way finished. I'm probably going to focus on 1 route finishing once we get to the end of the current cycle if everything goes as planned on the art side of things. -George
The last names of the two people involved in Sam's hit and run are Adler and Bronson. (Meaning the two people who killed Sam in Echo are the descendants of William and Todd)
You have to keep in mind that she doesn't like William. There is a moment when you can pick between talking with Dora, Harlan, Ethel and Cynthia. When I talked with Cynthia she is a bit less upset about him or so I recall.
This game is so good! I love how gruff and surely William has a notebook of cute little drawings to keep track of suspects. And Todd is so suspicious but he's still my fav boy. I wish there was a route for him, he gives me cuteness aggression.

Is there actually an update process or would I just have multiple builds on my pc at the same time? If so can I still open old saves (from Build 25) on my Build 25 file and use Build 26 for Build 26 files or is that not how it works?
without any spoilers, can someone tell me if the game seems close to completion? i dont really want to download all these versions because my computers really low on space and i cant spare very much, and i am wondering if its worth it to just wait for the game to be finished rather than download each new build as they come out.
All routes are about over half way finished and cliff's route is about 2/3 finished. You do not have to replay the game each time because there is a recent skip button function in the extras tab.

it's not close
I find it better to just wait it out. with each update you have to replay the whole game.
