There might actually be alien life in the universe, but probably not in our solar system as scientists have not found aliens on Mars, only proof that they once existed there. I think alien life such as microorganisms, fungi and small plants might be discovered, there might be low chances of intelligent aliens, and even if they exist, it's not necessary they are evil. But till now, humans can be seen as more destructive, like people literally kill each other for $100. And due to the pollution we cause, the Earth's temperature is rising, which is also known as global warming.
So in conclusion I think fear code is right, there is a quite low chance intelligent aliens exist, people only believe in their existence because of movies and video games like star wars
