Should I stay or should I go?

Hi everyone!  I haven't participated in many jams before, but this is my first opportunity to physically attend one.

My question-- I intend to work alone, mostly because of life situations where I don't know if I can reliability contribute to a team.  What are the benefits for a person working alone to attend the jam? (I've also never been to the space before, though I've been meaning to.). Should I stop by, or would I do just as well to participate remotely?

Hi DestryHawk,

You're welcome to come and work alone if you really choose to. Even if you intend to create your own project many find great benefit in sharing ideas during brainstorming, leveraging the experience of folks in the room to see pitfalls and answer questions, as well as the general boost from working alongside other folks in the same place. I'd highly recommend stopping by tonight even if you're unable to come the rest of the weekend to check the Space out and meet some new folks!
