The last two achievements I need require me to trigger the industrial revolution and to build modern houses and cars.

I've got modern houses on the go and I've even done the rocket ending. I'm producing plenty of metal/oil/batteries/glass etc but I just can't seem to get into the industrial revolution. The few videos out there don't explain it and they seem to be doing what I'm doing.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
