A surprisingly cute game, given its premise, with a colorful pixel style and endearing animations that keeps things lighthearted despite the fact that it starts with an elderly lady's sudden death. There's honestly a bit of reality subtext here for me, as I have cats and have often wondered what will happen to them should I suddenly die; I'm not elderly, but I think it's something that's occurred to most pet owners at one time or another. Hopefully the cats manage to find new homes after they escape the apartment! The puzzle took a little while for me to figure out, but it was satisfying when I did and it's nice that you were able to help the elderly woman move on after at least giving her beloved cats a chance. The usage of Goldie was also surprisingly grim, though like the rest of the game it was done in a humorous way. Fun and fairly short, though I guess that last part depends on how good you are at puzzle-solving. I enjoyed it!
This game is unique in its premise and tells a touching story. It pulled at my heartstrings because this lady is living alone and unlucky enough to die in an accident but she loves her cats so much that she doesn't care about her own problems TvT The art and music are really good and of course the writing was really effective and gave just enough hints to balance the difficulty for firsttime players. I like that you don't necessarily have to follow a strict order so if you mess up you don't need to restart the entire game. The only thing I would ask for are pause and escape buttons, and maybe another separate story if you guys are up for it! I love the details like the fish food not being able to fall into the bowl if the fan is blowing in its direction. Good job at making such a cohesive short game that has a beautiful tale <3
so.... i just won the game. there's only 2 important cats, the black one and the one on top of the fridge. make Geoffrey knocks the goldfish and fry it. use the fan to direct the smell to fredrick. to move geoffrey, turn on the clock, then the flush. swing the tissue and flush again. let the fly in, then turn on the desk lamp. click the fan so it faces to the left and turn it on to blow a leaf. a cat will scratch it and gives a remote control. turn on the tv, using the remote control, switch to cooking channel and click on the blue yarn. change the tv channel to a lion. click on the pink mouse toy and then the bird towel. turn on the water. click on the pink mouse toy again. cut the heart ornament on the ceiling and click on the fish pellets. turn on the stove and then the fan, facing the fridge.
