So I've been looking at this game for a bit, and not once have I been able to figure out how to make any progress at all. I've read all the educational and fiction books you can buy, given plenty of gifts, but nothing changes and I don't know what else to do to get further into this game. Anybody know? Would really appreciate it!

Uuh, well I hate to tell you this but. . .if you're playing it on PC, then you kinda waste most of your time, and so did I. I switched to mac and found out that the progress increases. On PC, it seems like there a glitch or bug, if you have paid attention to the "leaderboard" of Gryffindor NOT being on the lead, Hermione Granger will say "Gryffindor is on the lead, I do not need to do this", but that's not true, so therefore, the "leaderboard" is bugging, not even resetting it works. This is weird, very weird am I right? So yeah, mac works.

It seems borked for me too.

Hung out with Snape so much that now he doesn't want to hang anymore.  Have read every book and got every ending in the choose-you-own-adventure harem book.  Have bought every item.

I don't know if this will help but just keep hanging out with Snape till you get a conversation with him and his houses point gain will increase I think your suppose to keep getting trust with him till you get more points.

I haven't even the slightest clue as to how you are even able to buy stuff. Is there a certain interaction you have to complete or is there something i may have missed?
