I love what you guys are doing, the concept, the art, the mystery, and(OH GOD YES) the writing. Each update is a struggle to wait for, I yearn for each one of them.
I have been following this VN for the longest time, and it helped spark an old flame for writing in the time of my deep dark depression. Keep up the good work, inspire more people, bring joy, and emotional catharsis.

Well, the way we have it set up is that instead of actually making an effect happen (say, incrementing a "character points" variable whenever you choose a character), we just store all the choices you ever make in the entire game. So if we want to make an early prologue choice meaningful in the future, we can do that in future builds without worry.
So like setting flags (bools) in C# that get marked true false etc for each decision and having events check for specific flags later.
Or something of the like I am just guessing cause I only know aspects of C#, or adding every decision to a list and having the game parse the list! I dunno I'm just making silly guesses at this point.
I loved the new update a lot!! (Thecuddlesmeltedme) I know there aren't many CGs in the game, but I just wanted to ask if there would be a gallery in the making any time soon. I really like the art of of this game, so I think a gallery of sorts would be a nice addition to the game...just wondering🐊

Hey I ran into a bit of an issue with the mobile version. Each time I play it's really choppy. Like throughout the game I have to wait after each tap I make starting from the loading or start screen and even during a playthrough. I don't know if others are experiencing this or if it's an issue on my end but that's what I've been experiencing. I love the game and I hope you get it done up to the point youd like it to be so please keep going, I just thought it'd be helpful to mention this issue here.
Also I'd like to add that I love how you are putting the theme of Psychic abilities in the world because it's mostly written off as fantasy or fake, I myself am a psychic I'd like to say. I say that because I'm not sure that I'd be considered a psychic because I have a talent for communing with the energy around me including a person's nervous system, I mainly use my talent to soothe aches and pains to a minor degree because my talent is very limited in the sense that I can only do so much for a person before getting too tired to keep going. I'm sorry if I seem like I'm bragging or showing off but I think I just felt a need to put it out there, mainly because I'm alone in having this talent inside my friend circle and I'm mainly trusted to help them with their bodily troubles and picking up on these troubles.
Main point is, I love what you're doing with this vn and I'm cheering for you all. I know it can be a daunting task to do something like this because it's a very sensitive topic but thus far you've all done a wonderful job at portraying the problems and coping mechanisms of psychics.

I've got a LG K40 running on one of the newer Android os. My first assumption is that it's a screwup that happened at the download, but it persists after I updated it and also reinstalled the game. I'd give you a proper bug report from my device but I honestly don't know how I'd go about accessing the game's core files neither how to read JavaScript or any other digital language.
Played the latest build and really loved the story and the characters. The only thing i'm a bit worried about is Jude's Dreamcatcher tattoo. Dreamcatchers are very important to various native's people culture, and many see it just randomly using it as appropation. Of course, the full game isn't out or anything, so i just hope this bit is explained or handled in a way that's respectful to native people, and for it to don't feel like appropation.
Besides that, i'm hooked on the story and the characters. Can't wait for the next build.
I don't wish to spoil anything, so I'll just say that if you play Jude's route, you' probably learn a bit more about what happened to him, and you'll also probably learn how he got his eyebrow scar, and what led him to get the tattoo. Every design element (or lack of thereof) is intentional and has a reason behind it, so rest assured we aren't doing anything "randomly". 🙂
Shirtless Mode is the only password implemented. We implement a new password every other month. We just want to keep others informed in case they decide to become a patron for the passwords. It's not publicly available at this time.
Does this VN have nsfw scenes? I prefer my games without those, or with a story behind it like Fueled by Insanity. The VN is listed as a slice of life but.. the fandom usually gives purely nsfw stuff that title.
So, the game have a pretty good story and it does not have nsfw scenes yet (v 0.5.4) but it seams that it will have some in the next update (i'm not part of the dev team of this game, so, about the story, it's pretty good based in My Opinion, and about the NSFW, there is a Newsfeed where they said it will have NSFW in the next update)
i'm on pc. Whenever i open the VN it just remains black (no logo, no music, nothing) and if i click on the window, it stops working. However if i don't click on the window it remains black forever or until i close it.
Give the suggestions/directions in this link a try and let me know if that works for you. (If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else we can try without more PC information.)
This happens as we make changes and incompatibilities occur in older saves. It should fix itself as you go, eventually the layers need to get re-established in the script. Worst case you may need to start a new save and skip until you get to your original spot.
Hey Rook I have another small inconsistency in the phone conversations with Zoe. With some of the options you can choose you get Jude's and Quinn's numbers before Zoe gives them to you; and this is reflected in the dialogue later with her only giving Elliot's in the dialogue. But in the conversation only with her it shows all three phone numbers. This could be fixed by having the mc say a line that she must've not known about Quinn giving them Jude's and his numbers or simply removing those two when you choose to visit the library with Quinn. This is a minor flaw and doesn't need to be addressed immediately, but I just wanted to notify you of it.
Essentially it's little gags and fun alternative ways to play. Like currently if you're a patreon you'll get the password to play Shirtless mode, which as you can guess, removes shirt layers on all of the sprites. (The dialogue will almost never reflect the game play modes so this may lead to more humorous interactions.)
I previously played through all the routes and found some typos, wonderful game, I'm glad to see the phone history typo correction was implimented into the update. Hope youre having a wonderful day and try not to lose sleep over getting the updates out exactly on time. People are willing to wait if your health will be compromised otherwise. I loved Jude's route in the previous update and can't wait to see what you've added this time around. I'll try and keep out an eye for any typos patreon people missed if youd think that'd be helpful.
Yeah, any typos you may find feel free to report here or mention the specific lines in the surveys, there's a reasonable chance some may already be reported by someone else, but you still may have found a couple that are new and any found are much appreciated.
As of this time there is no plan for a Zoe route. While a platonic friendship route could exist in the future, it's not currently in our current scope of plans. I suppose further down the line if we have the support and demand is there for it we'll have to consider it more seriously.

Great game over all. Only issue I have is I don't have a clue how,if I can, to transfer save files from one version to another. I have to keep replaying the game every update. If someone can tell me how that would be great.
Files are stored in the game folder methinks, on my phone they're in Internal storage > Android > data > io.itch.rookfluffy > files > saves however I'm fairly sure that if a scene changed the save file will not be compatible, I suggest you just get a fresh install and check Skip unseen text in the options so that you only get stopped on choices
This is one of limitations we're dealing with for sure, we're also working on an additional option to streamline the process to getting back to the newest content whenever your saves lose said compatibility. (But it's not ready yet, so unfortunately that's really the only way to do it.)
I've gotta say, this is one of the most adorable visual novels I've personally seen in a while, looking forward to reading through this update, and the soon to come nsfw being added later

There is some minor impact, but not TOO major. The prologue is mostly meant for you to get to know all the boys and get a gist of what they're about.

when i loaded up the game all the text was messed up (this was the pc version) the text looked mainly like lines

The dang clothing layers just never seem to want to stay on. For some reason I don't think people mind that bug very much though... weird.

Are there multiple routes on this game? If there are, is there a Zoe route? Like, i know we're gay, but Zoe is a cool character.
