Greetings.

If you send too many point to the helios dac by say clicking the x10 button when you have 650 points set, Maxwell crashes.

Selecting "Points" fails with helios dac unless the point count is extremely low. It actually freezes what is being displayed. This is not an expected or safe behavior

Is this still a problem? Can i buy the Helios DAC and expect it to work?

Yes, the DAC works great. The issue I listed are software problems, not hardware. Take a look at Modulaser too, it also works with Helios.

No. if you send too many points you can freeze or crash maxwell. There is no reason to do this however I just posted this bug because i was pushing the software to see what it can do. Nobody has heard from the developer in a while though so at this point i would not recommend buying Maxwell.
