I know this is a shot in the dark, but hey, it's 2020. Just about every crazy thing that could have happened this year has, so why not one more?

Agashi, if you're reading this: Anything that you may have been afraid of happening—people getting frustrated, or reporting the Kickstarter—girl, it's already happened. We crossed that point a while ago.

So take a moment and really ask yourself, what's left to stop you? You've got nothing to lose at this point. Literally any attempt to reach out and communicate will be a vast improvement to the situation, and a step in the right direction. Put away any feelings of shame or embarrassment. If you've survived all the crap that's happened this past year, you can survive posting online.

Want to cancel the game? Say so, and you can release whatever you have so far. Want to put it on hiatus? Say so, and you can complete what's left at a later point. Doesn't need to be any more complicated than that.

If you leave your project like this, you'll always be regretting it, and it'll always be weighing on you. Speaking up is the only way you'll be able to make amends and finally move on from this. So please, don't waste anymore time. Don't agonize over the decision, don't think about it at all—just log in and post somewhere. Ask someone you trust to do it for you if that's easier. There's nowhere to go but up.

Do it for your backers, and do it for your own peace of mind. Trust me, you'll feel better.
