me and my dad were trying to play this game, and so far both he and i are stuck after destroying the asteroids. neither one of us can find any way to repair the hull. can we get a fellow cremate some advice here?

I had a problem where the asteroids didn't give enough scrap (whatever it is called that comes out after the destruction). but if you have enough, go to the repair module in the station and hit the wrench button. After that you should see a button that says repair 1 and repair all. click either you want, and your ship health is will be restored.
