It as soon as the MC goes to watch the video on the website it just gets a black screen. I am running the Linux version. So I thought maybe it's spit out errors in the console but it isn't. This is on the evening of Monday day 20. Maybe unity is trying to play the video and failing? Though maybe it's stuck in some kinda loop instead of erroring and moving on. It just keeps playing the computer sounds and black screen.

I'm really sorry you encountered a bug. Yes, as you suspect, a video should play at that point. That bug has been reported to me in the Mac version (which is why I couldn't release a Mac version), but no one reported it in the Linux version, and the tester I have didn't experience any problems.

What resolution and screen mode are you playing in? You can try adjusting those settings and see if that fixes it.

hmm the only options for me are Windowed and Full Screen Windowed. My res is at 1920x1080 @ 60hz . have graphics set at Ultra. Though the Full Screen Windowed setting doesn't stay. After restarting the game it goes back to Windowed.

Do you play in full-screen or windowed mode? Because the UI doesn't work properly in windowed mode (that's something I still need to fix).

The 1920x1080 resolution is correct, because the game works well in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
